The year's most shocking divorce (to date) came in the form of Hip Hop power couple Kelis and Nas. The duo, often looked to as Hip Hop's royal couple, like Jay-Z and Beyonce, came to an abrupt end in April.

Citing irreconcilable differences, Kelis filed divorce papers in Los Angeles after nearly four years of marriage.

honestly, after looking and reading aba these six divorce cases, i really agree that they're really shocking, especially those of r kelly, nas and mel gibson. damn!
