Kandi Burruss, formerly of the multi-platinum group Xscape, has been all too busy behind the scenes. After reaching such milestones as three Top 10 Hits (Just Kickin It, Understanding, and My Little Secret) as well as a Lady of Soul Award, she has not slowed down. Her successful career as the sultry low-toned voice of the unprecedented group has set the stage for the great solo artist she is today.

Away from the spotlight, Kandi has been writing hits for other artists such as Alicia Keys, Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, Pink, Faith Evans, NSync, Boyz II Men, and most notably, TLC (No Scrubs) and Destinys Child (Bills, Bills, Bills). Such skill with the pen led Kandi to mark her place in music history by becoming the first female ever to receive the prestigious ASCAP Rhythm and Soul Songwriting Award.

Recently, this nationally and internationally-known singer/songwriter with the signature voice has returned to the studio, not just as a songwriter but as the artist so many fans have grown to miss.
