Drake was born in Ontario where he began his acting career by starring as a character in the sitcom Degrassi: The Next Generation. After the show, Drake began to focus on his music career and released his first mixtape called �Room For Improvement� in 2006. Since then, Drake has caught the eye of both hip hop and R&B stars as he was deemed the �Savior of Hip Hop�. Opting to take a deal with Universal, after a bidding war, Drake is clearly poised for a long triple-threat laden career.
