With numerous chart-topping hits in Europe and tours throughout the G.S.A (Germany, Switzerland, Austria), Danny Fernandes is a triple threat – a talented singer, a dynamic dancer and a gifted songwriter. With his debut single “Curious” already a massive success abroad, Danny is more than ready to launch his solo career in Canada. As the energetic middle child in his family, Danny was always looking for ways to stand out whether it was through performing or playing pranks on family and friends. With the influence of his family, he began dancing at the age of 7 and competed every chance he could. In 1998, Danny won the top spot in the “Rising Star” solo dance competition held every summer in Toronto at the Canadian National Exhibition (CNE). It wasn’t long until Danny found himself on the road as a dancer for Aaron Carter, Deborah Cox, Blackstreet, and Shawn Desman (his older brother). Along with touring, Danny was also cast in chart-topping videos by Aaron Carter and Shawn Desman. In 2004, after many years of touring, Danny decided to step out of the shadow of his brother and other artists he toured with to focus on his own solo career. He spent the next few years developing and merging his gifts of dance and vocals to create a sound that best represented him as an artist. Danny is releasing his debut single, “Curious”, to the Canadian radio airwaves. The club banger also features Harlem rapper Juelz Santana (Diplomat Records/Def Jam Recordings).The single was co-written and co-produced by Pilzbury (Shawn Desman, Massari) and has proven itself internationally as it exploded up the German Club Charts to the 1 spot in the summer of 2006. Danny is currently in the studio recording his debut album slated for release nationally in the early part of 2008. The album will host collaborations with successful writers, award winning producers and chart topping artists. With Danny’s natural abilities and the support of these Canadian music industry heavy-hitters, Danny is destined for greatness. Danny is without a doubt the artist to look out for.
